Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about bringing a Saturday in Church leadership experience to your church, ministry, or organization.
ABOUT SATURDAY IN CHURCH
Who is KBG Ministries, and how is it related to Saturday in Church?
KBG Ministries is the ministry behind Saturday in Church.
KBG Ministries exists to help people carry the teachings and values of Christ into the places they live, work, lead, build, and serve. Our work focuses especially on the places where following Christ can become difficult in practice—conflict, leadership, relationships, organizational culture, decision-making, calling, and the stewardship of influence.
Saturday in Church is a production of KBG Ministries created to bring that mission directly to churches, ministries, and the people they serve.
Through Saturday in Church, KBG brings Christ-centered speakers, workshops, leadership intensives, and practical biblical teaching into ministry communities.
The name reflects a simple idea:
Sometimes we need more time together than Sunday allows.
Saturday in Church creates space to learn, wrestle with real challenges, practice, ask questions, and grow together—so that what we believe on Sunday shapes how we live and lead throughout the week.
Does KBG Ministries have a Statement of Faith?
Statement of Faith
August 20th, 2026
KBG Ministries is an evangelical Christian ministry grounded in the authority of Scripture and the historic Christian faith. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—and in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work. We seek to faithfully proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, equip believers, serve the Church, and bring the truth and character of Christ into every sphere in which God calls His people to live, lead, work, and serve.
We believe our faith in Christ should transform not only what we believe, but how we live and how we lead. KBG Ministries seeks to equip Christians to carry their faith faithfully into their families, communities, workplaces, organizations, and other places of influence. Through Christ-centered servant leadership, we encourage believers to lead with humility, wisdom, integrity, courage, compassion, and love—using their God-given gifts and influence to serve others, strengthen communities, steward what God has entrusted to them, and contribute to a better world that reflects the character and Kingdom of God.
All are welcome here. You may belong in our community before you believe what we believe. We welcome those who are seeking, questioning, learning, returning to faith, or simply curious about Jesus, and we endeavor to meet every person with the grace, dignity, truth, and love Christ demonstrated. At the same time, our welcome does not require us to diminish or obscure our faith. KBG Ministries will be clear and unwavering about the Gospel and the teachings of Scripture. We will not be lukewarm or equivocate on the essential truths of the Christian faith, including the person and Lordship of Jesus Christ, the reality of sin and our need for redemption, justification by grace through faith in Christ, the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, and salvation through Jesus Christ alone. We believe truth and love are not competing commitments; in Christ, we are called to faithfully practice both.
Our Shared Foundation
This Statement of Faith serves as the shared spiritual and doctrinal foundation of KBG Ministries and all ministries, organizations, programs, initiatives, productions, platforms, and other works owned, operated, produced, or fully stewarded by KBG Ministries, whether or not they publicly carry the KBG name.
Each expression of KBG Ministries may have a distinct mission, audience, purpose, or method of service, but all remain rooted in this common foundation. Our work may take place in churches, homes, communities, businesses, workplaces, media, education, or other areas of influence, but our foundational Christian beliefs do not change with the setting.
This Statement of Faith governs the ministries and works for which KBG Ministries holds responsibility and stewardship. It does not, by association alone, represent the beliefs of independent organizations, churches, clients, guests, contractors, collaborators, or ministry partners with whom KBG Ministries may work or serve.
Many expressions. One ministry. One foundation. Jesus Christ.
Are the workshops explicitly Christian?
Yes. Unapologetically and intentionally.
Every workshop is developed from a Christ-centered worldview and anchored in Scripture.
But these aren’t simply sermons presented in workshop format.
We connect biblical truth with practical leadership tools, organizational experience, thoughtful reflection, exercises, and real-world application.
The goal is to explore not only what Scripture teaches, but what faithfully living it out looks like when leadership, relationships, and life become difficult.
Is this leadership training or ministry?
We believe it can be both.
We don’t believe Christians need one set of principles for church and another for business, leadership, or everyday life.
Our workshops help close that gap—equipping people to carry what they believe about Christ into how they communicate, make decisions, handle conflict, exercise authority, build culture, steward resources, pursue excellence, and care for people.
That’s at the heart of KBG Ministries:
Helping leaders bring the culture of the Kingdom into the culture of the places they lead.
THE WORKSHOPS
What workshop topics are available?
Our signature workshops currently include:
Conflict Without Compromise
Managing disagreement, difficult conversations, accountability, and reconciliation in Christ-like ways.
Building Kingdom Culture
Helping leaders bring the culture of the Kingdom into the culture of their organizations.
Leading When the Answer Isn’t Clear
Christian decision-making under pressure, uncertainty, and competing priorities.
Each experience can be delivered at different levels of depth depending on your audience, objectives, and available time.
What workshop formats do you offer?
Every signature workshop can be delivered in three formats:
60-Minute Leadership Session
A focused and engaging introduction to the topic, biblical anchors, core Christian values, and practical applications. Q&A can be included.
4-Hour High-Impact Workshop
A deeper, interactive experience incorporating Scripture, practical tools, exercises, reflection, discussion, and strategies participants can begin applying immediately.
1–2 Day Leadership Intensive
An immersive experience providing time for deeper engagement with anchor Scripture, practical frameworks, real-world scenarios, discussion, skill development, and strategies for sustained application.
Intensives may also be divided across a 1–3 day conference, retreat, summit, or existing program.
Who are the workshops designed for?
Our workshops can serve entire congregations or targeted leadership audiences.
Depending on the topic and goals of the host organization, participants might include:
Pastors • Ministry Teams • Business Owners • Executives • Managers • Entrepreneurs • Nonprofit Leaders • Educators • Young Professionals • Emerging Leaders
One of our central areas of focus is helping Christians carry their faith into the places they work, lead, build, influence, and serve.
Kingdom values should travel with us into Monday’s meetings.
Can a workshop be incorporated into an event we already have planned?
Absolutely.
Saturday in Church workshops are intentionally designed to work as either standalone experiences or components of an existing conference, retreat, leadership program, ministry event, staff gathering, or church initiative.
The 60-minute session works especially well within an existing agenda. The 4-hour format provides greater opportunity for interaction and application, while the Intensive can be delivered consecutively or distributed across a multi-day event.
We’ll work with your team to determine what fits best.
Can the experience be customized for our church or organization?
Yes.
Every church and ministry has its own people, culture, calling, opportunities, and challenges.
Before an engagement, our team works to understand your audience, objectives, ministry context, and the particular challenges or opportunities you hope to address.
The biblical foundations of our programs remain consistent, while examples, exercises, emphasis, and practical application can be thoughtfully adapted to better serve the people in the room.
Can KBG also support a Sunday service?
Yes, when appropriate.
A leadership workshop can stand entirely on its own, or a church may wish to explore pairing Saturday in Church programming with an appropriate Sunday ministry opportunity.
We treat those conversations separately because we never want the proclamation of Scripture to feel like something simply packaged and sold alongside a professional workshop.
SPEAKERS & ENGAGEMENTS
Who leads the workshops?
KBG engagements are led and supported by a team bringing together experience from business, education, executive leadership, organizational transformation, and ministry.
We thoughtfully consider the needs of each engagement and work with the host organization to understand its audience, objectives, and ministry context.
Whatever the format, our commitment remains the same:
Biblically grounded. Professionally prepared. Practically useful. Deeply respectful of the people we are invited to serve.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
KBG Ministries is based in Austin, Texas, and our team travels throughout the United States and internationally to support churches, ministries, organizations, and leaders.
If you’re wondering whether we can come to you, ask us.
RATES & STEWARDSHIP
What are the rates for a Saturday in Church workshop?
Because every engagement is different, rates are provided following a brief evaluation of your needs with a member of our team.
We’ll discuss your audience, desired workshop, format, location, schedule, and any customization required. From there, we’ll provide a clear rate for the engagement.
Quoted rates include the speaker honorarium and anticipated travel costs, when necessary, so your organization can understand the expected financial commitment before moving forward.
To request information, please contact us.
Do you guarantee your workshops?
Yes. We call it our Stewardship Commitment.
Jesus teaches:
“Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” — Luke 16:10
When you invite us to serve, you’re entrusting us with more than money.
You’re trusting us with your people’s time, your ministry’s resources, and an opportunity to serve people God has placed in your care.
We take that seriously.
That’s why KBG Ministries offers a Satisfaction Guarantee.
If, after your engagement, your organization genuinely believes we did not deliver the workshop experience we committed to provide, tell us. We will work to make it right—and if we cannot, we will waive our professional fee.
Our commitment is simple:
If you trust us with your resources, we intend to be worthy of that trust.
THE STEWARDSHIP GUARANTEE
Our Commitment to the Resources Entrusted to Us
Saturday In Church believes that ministry resources should be handled with care.
Churches and ministries steward resources that have been entrusted to them for Kingdom purposes. When a church invests those resources in Saturday In Church, we accept a responsibility to demonstrate value worthy of that trust.
Accordingly, KBG offers the Saturday In Church Stewardship Guarantee.
If Host is dissatisfied with KBG’s performance of the contracted Saturday In Church program, Host may provide KBG written notice describing its concerns within ten (10) business days following the event.
Upon receipt of that notice, KBG will refund eighty percent (80%) of the Professional Fees actually paid to KBG for the affected event.
The Stewardship Guarantee applies only to KBG’s Professional Fees.
The following are not included in the refund calculation and are non-refundable once incurred:
- Airfare
- Hotel expenses
- Ground transportation
- Mileage
- Meals or per diem
- Shipping
- Printing or materials produced specifically for Host
- Third-party expenses
- Other approved travel or pass-through expenses
The Stewardship Guarantee reflects KBG’s commitment to careful stewardship, meaningful service, and demonstrated value when a ministry entrusts resources to Saturday In Church.
CHURCH PLANTS & FINANCIAL HARDSHIP
What if we're a newly planted church or simply don't have the resources for a workshop?
Please don’t assume your budget means you shouldn’t ask.
Some of the ministries doing extraordinary Kingdom work are newly planted churches, emerging ministries, and smaller congregations serving faithfully with limited financial resources.
Through Saturday in Church, KBG Ministries offers sponsorship opportunities for qualifying newly planted churches and ministries experiencing financial hardship.
Ask your KBG team member about our GiveToChurch Program to learn whether your church or ministry may qualify for a Saturday in Church sponsorship.
Sponsorship availability is limited, but we never want financial hardship to prevent a ministry from beginning the conversation.
GETTING STARTED
How do we bring Saturday in Church to our organization?
Start with a conversation.
Tell us a little about:
Your church, ministry, or organization
The people you hope to serve
The leadership challenge or topic you’re interested in
The type of event you’re planning
The workshop format you’re considering, if you already know
You don’t need to have everything figured out.
A member of our team will help you explore the appropriate workshop and format, discuss scheduling and rates, and answer questions about customization, travel, or potential GiveToChurch sponsorship.
